Attention and Regulation Differences for Children (aged 3+) & Adults

ADHD assessment

ADHD involves differences in attention, executive functioning, and regulation of energy and impulses. This can impact learning, organisation, emotions, and daily life across settings.

Why Assessments Matter

What are the benefits of ADHD Assessments

Assessments help clarify how attention and regulation work for you or your child. This allows for targeted strategies at school, work, and home, supports access to appropriate accommodations, and reduces ongoing frustration or self-doubt. Early understanding supports confidence, wellbeing, and long-term outcomes.

ADHD assessment approach

How our ADHD assessments are different

Our assessments are grounded in strong experience in neurodiversity and reflect current understanding of ADHD across the lifespan. We are mindful of diverse presentations, including those often missed (e.g., internalised profiles, girls and women, and individuals who mask). We also consider the impact of factors such as anxiety or trauma to ensure a nuanced understanding. Our approach is flexible and can include home-based assessment when appropriate, helping reduce stress and providing a more accurate picture of everyday functioning.
